CT to FL Day 8
Reedville, VA to Hampton, VA
We left Reedville this morning at 0600O... was a little breezy and we had 2 to 3 foot seas on the nose producing a bumpy ride for the first 2 to 3 hours...

Things settled down eventually and we finished the day with 1 to 2 ft seas arriving at our destination for the day... Wayne McPhail's dock in Hampton, VA... Salt Ponds.

We were secure at the dock with shore power connected at 1315. Our location for night N37°03.549', W076°17.050'. We traveled today for 7.25 hours covering 49.23 nautical miles averaging 6.8 knots.

Weather forecast is bad for Friday and Saturday so we plans to spend the weekend here in Hampton and continue on Monday... and we have great friends to visit here in Hampton....

CT to FL Day 6
Annapolis, MD to Annapolis, MD
Had a rather wiggly night on the hook... was a bit windy and the waves kept us bouncing about a bit... slept like a log... Love being anchored opposed to a dock...

Not far to go today... only about 4 miles to Port Annapolis Marina located in Back Creek... new fresh water pump is shipping to Diversified Marine Services which is in the marina next to Port Annapolis Marina.

We pulled the anchor and were underway at 1030... and arrived to Port Annapolis Marina at 1130... Our location for night N38°57.824', W076°28.821'. We traveled today for 1 hour covering 4.0 nautical miles averaging 4 knots.

Picked up the new water pump at Diversified Marine around 1400... spent the afternoon installing it... port engine is now fully functional with a new fresh water pump...
